PRESS RELEASE: New Food Truck Permanently Installed Inside of Prominent Chicago Office Building

CHICAGO, Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- An innovative idea in the indoor accessible food truck culinary experience has surfaced in downtown Chicago, to the delight of office workers and nearby breakfast and lunch crowds.

"THE CANTEEN" is a custom built vintage food truck, that was commissioned by the building owners of the "300 South Wacker" building to further utilize their main floor lobby area. The vintage 1955 Ford Kurbside bread truck has been meticulously built and refurbished by Chicago Food Truck Builder Jeff Doornbos of American Glory and will be placed in the new, high-end, permanent structure that will provide a wide variety of culinary treats and meals from a specifically designed, sleek truck to the building's occupants and visitors.

Instead of having the typical cafeteria to serve the lunch needs for office workers, the Chicago-based FOODA company will be leveraging the new custom food truck as a kiosk for their vendors. This will be the first time that a permanent indoor food truck will be used indoors by the company.

To meet the demand for this new indoor food truck need, the building owners turned to local area businessman, Jeff Doornbos, who is the owner and operator of American Glory, a Chicago based food truck builder and licensed food truck operator. With over 3 years in the food truck building business, Doornbos is carving out his place to be the leading truck builder in Chicago and the Midwest in the new game changing food truck industry that is about to take over this new cultural trend in America - Indoor Food Trucks.

"This endeavor proves that the public is enjoying the convenience and ambiance that comes with this cultural evolution of the culinary diversity of the food truck industry, and Chicago has long been known as a city that embraces the culinary food culture", says Doornbos.
